So you probably think I am either a) bonkers or b) ill prepared. I would agree with both sentiments whole heartedly. But it is out there now on the big World Wide Web and so I can't be sitting here in a year, watching "The Holiday" again and admitting that this challenge was bigger than me. Somehow I have to make this happen.

But I need help.

• Ideas welcome - please do send me your thoughts on how to raise money to hit the 1,000,000 pennies
• Running tips - being a complete beginner (although I do now own proper pair of running shoes that fit thanks to Father Christmas) I need all the guidance you can give. At the moment 26 miles is impossible!
• Encouragement - definitely needed in buckets (especially if you happen to be in London on 21st April)
